Austria Alpha Tag Registration
Effective 1 October 2026, Alpha Tag registration will be required in Austria. Sending from an unregistered Alpha Tag will result in the messages failing.

Registration may take up to 4-5 weeks to be fully verified.

Alpha Tag
Registration is case-sensitive. For example registering ClickSend does not register CLICKSEND. Alpha Tag must be a minimum 3 characters and maximum 11. Generic Alpha Tags are not supported (e.g., OTPSMS, Doctor, Info). Alpha Tag must show clear link between the Company/brand.
